Three of Aotearoa’s leading mental health and wellbeing services are joining together to make it easier for more New Zealanders to access their support.
Gains Wellness and Psychology, Mental Health NZ and Explore Specialist Advice are coming together under one new name – Explore Hāpainga Ora.
Explore Hāpainga Ora is part of New Zealand Health Group – Aotearoa’s leading provider of home and community care services – and provides wrap-around mental health and wellbeing services. Their skilled team of Recovery Facilitators, Allied Health practitioners, Psychologists, Counsellors and Behaviour Specialists support people in our communities, their whānau and their wider support networks using evidence-based clinical frameworks.
Explore Hāpainga Ora General Manager Ray Finch says bringing the three services together under one name will make it easier for people needing mental health support to find us and begin their journey to better health and wellbeing.

The team at Explore Hāpainga Ora supports people of all ages experiencing a range of psychological challenges across Aotearoa. The team also works with neurodiverse people of all ages and can provide practical and flexible support for parents, whānau and caregivers.
